Barton College will participate in the Carolina Games Summit in Historic Downtown Wilson scheduled for Friday, February 17th and Saturday February 18th. Barton College plans to award more than 50 scholarships totaling over $100,000 across 14 esports tournaments.

“We are excited to again partner with Barton College to provide a clear path for prospective esports athletes who also want to gain a nationally recognized college education,” says Michael Everett, Creative Director for Carolina Games Summit. “This year Carolina Games Summit will feature 14 tournaments across 10 games with all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place competitors eligible to receive a $2,000 esports scholarship to Barton College.”

Barton College competes in a variety of games in the National Association of Collegiate Esports. The list includes League of Legends, Rocket League, CS: GO, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six, Apex Legends, Super Smash Bros, Paladins, Smite, Fortnite, Valorant, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Madden, FIFA, and NBA 2K.
