A Dungeon and Dragons panel will be conducted by Aaron Washington, Christian Beltran, Tanner Parker, Nicholas Dowden, and Mike Shaw. The panel titled "Dungeons & Dragons: A Beginners Guide" will be held on January 31st at 7:00 PM in The Maxwell Center, Room G.

Have you ever wanted to start your own D&D adventure but didn't know how? Have you ever wanted to create awesome characters with elaborate backstories to wow the DM and your party? DM World and Coffee & Critters:

make they to the Carolina Games Summit on January 31st & February 2nd to give you some natural 20 insight on how to get started, and what you need as a player and as a Dungeon Master.

The panel will be defining tabletop RPGs as well as how to get started and what you need to play and compare tabletop RPGs to video games that allow choices. How do you get started? Where do I find a game to join? How do I become the DM? All these questions and more can be answered during the Q & A and worst player's choices section!

About Aaron Washington

Aaron Washington has been involved in Tabletop RPGs for 15+ years now as a player and a DM (Dungeon Master). He is an aspiring fiction writer as well as building his own tabletop RPG system. Washington is currently running Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition, Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, and homebrew based on the FairyTale Anime and recently founded DmWorld to show others the joy of Dungeons and Dragons. Over the past year, Aaron with the help of Nicholas and Mike has aired a podcast Coffee and Crits.

About Christian Beltran
Christian Beltran has a wide range of running experience (6+yrs) from D&D 4th/5th Editions, World of Darkness/Chronicles of Darkness, and the greatest of which is for Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary. He has also played in a wide range of games: Maid to Dark Conspiracy. Christian also helps with running a 3yr+ online community for VTM (Vampire: The Masquerade) that was started by The Gentleman Gamer, Matthew Dawkins (Youtuber, Tabletop Writer, Dad) called “Vampire the Masquerade Youtube Experiment”, where people all over the world can Roleplay in an open setting in the fictional city of New Sarum.

About Tanner Parker
Creator and DM of a One Piece d20 Homebrew for 9 years, Creator of a Harry Potter RPG homebrew and creator of the Transcended RPG.

About Nicholas Dowden
With 12+ years of DM and Player experience, Mr. Dowden is a seasoned veteran of various RPGs including 3rd/5th edition D&D, Pathfinder, and Silver Age Sentinels. He has also recently started DMing professionally as well as working on starting a new LARP in the Jacksonville, NC area.

About Mike Shaw
Mike Shaw has been playing tabletop RPGs for 16+ years. He started with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. He's been a DM Since then and has been creating his own world and game system. He has an excellent sense of Dungeon Mechanics and storytelling. He is also one of the hosts of the podcast coffee and crits.
